A few words about me
Hello, and welcome. I'm so glad you found your way here, pull up a chair.
my story, briefly
I'm Tara, a writer and a believer in the art of close attention.
I live in the quiet beauty of Pennsylvania with a daring red fox that regularly trots past my window. I'm currently writing my next novel, surrounded by my husband, my children, and several absolutely silly dogs.
I have a long history of sitting with a story until it's ready, and of being surprised by what comes out when I finally give it the space it deserves. I'm a former Artist-in-Residence for BookGarden and Hewnoaks, and someone who has spent decades studying her craft.
Every Room Remembers is my debut and has been a slow, joyful thing to make.
with warmth,
Tara
